SailRail Rack Shuttles provide an uninterrupted supply of containers or racks to assembly or stamping operations. These shuttles utilize the SailRail patented air-film technology and provide very special and unique advantages: low cost, fast cycle time, high functional reliability and ease of installation.
Shuttles come in two basic configurations: non-accumulating and accumulating.
Non-Accumulating
These provide the
operator with jog capability. Parts in the rack jog past the work cell maintaining the high part cycle time required. They significantly minimize operator walking time and provide for dual cycle forklift capability. Totally pneumatic operation.
Accumulating
These locate the center line of the rack to the center line of the work cell, ideal for walk-in type picking requirements. Dual cycle fork lift capability is provided.
